Grace

An elderly mare grazes peacefully beside her last foal before retirement. You can see the age in her body, she has given her best, her foal is strong and beautifully built. I've captured a moment when all foals taste the grass that their mamas seem to enjoy, their extra long legs must be folded to let their mouth reach the ground. This breeding farm retires their mares to a long life in pasture enjoying the company of other mares.
