Traveling Show
This has been a journey of inspiration, hard work, and study, for 35 years. The 22 paintings in this collection are available for exhibition and are not for sale. If you have a well lit larger gallery size at your church, library, or exhibition hall, feel free to check with me for dates. There will be a small fee to cover travel expenses at cost.
It is said that the horse is God's favorite animal. They are the most complex, transformative animals on the face of the earth to paint. They inspire awe and symbolize power and swiftness, bravery, willingness and independence. They are worshipped by pagans, depended on for protection, used by God to make points about His power and might, and alternately, our dependence and foolishness. This series is an on-going project and depends on scripture verses for inspiration. They are from the Egyptian chariot horses to the Four Horsemen of Revelation, and many in between. Horses, horsemen and chariots are mentioned over 200 times in the scriptures. I am adding to the pieces in the collection of 22, as I get inspiration from scripture.
