Kentucky Artist C.W. Nave

Immersion II - Oil

Award winning artist C.W. Nave is a  painter and sculptor of landscapes and animals. Her work is influenced by the glories of God in nature surrounding her in Central Kentucky.

She is currently incorporating the influence of the Holy Bible into her art through scriptural imagery of the power and glory of God through the horse. There are over 200 references to horses, horsemen and chariots in the bible, and they all have symbolic meaning to the listener.

Nave's work has been displayed and sold at numerous museums and galleries around the country, and has been featured in the Equine Images magazine, and the covers of other magazines. Her work has been purchased by Mark Phillips, when he was trainer of the US Olympic Three-Day team. She is currently the Dean of Painting for the American Academy of Equine Art, and serves on the Board of Directors. She teaches a week long mentoring workshop at Keeneland Race Track at the Spring meet in April  and Fall meet in October.
